Old Town Alexandria

On our second day in Washington D.C we went to a nice place called "Old Town". Honesty, I don't remember the history of this place but my impression is that it is a quiet city with two stories buildings. According to Pruek, the government of U.S. does not allow any buildings in X miles higher than a specific number of meter/feet/story/whatever.
We also bought a small wooden Uncle Sam doll from an antique store which seemed to have all kinds of souvenir with prices that most of the tourist cities have. I also bought a book titled "Gods in Alabama" by Joshilyn Jackson from a bookshop there but haven't had time to read yet. Basically, if you enjoy walking around a peaceful city this one is O.K. As Pruek dropped us on 9th street and would be back when we call him we had spent 2 hours wandering the city. We had a home-made ice-cream from a restaurant nearby which is quite good according to Dee. Next station "Krispy Kreme".
