4th Of July 2006



There would be lots of fireworks in New York as part of the celebration for the "Independence Day" of the United States. We had been walking for almost 10 blocks to find a place that would give us a nice view to take some photos. We walked back and forth between 2 blocks and finally ended up at an apartment property area that especially opened for this celebration. Two English ladies wondered why we wanted to leave this place to find another one but we insisted to go because I didn't want to hand my camera above the sea port to get a picture. It's too risky. A boy ages around 6 years old seemed not to pay any attentions to the fireworks even his mother persuaded him to stay. There were Thais, the British, Mexicans, Japanese, Germans, and I thought I had seen one or two Americans there.
